1st Home in Nevada Interviewed about Toxic AMERICAN Drywall
We sat down with a CPSC investigator on Sept 21st to follow-up on the web interview sheet we submitted. The package we sent in advance detailing how a new home we purchased from Lennar in 2004 was killing us one breath at a time. We showed him samples, went through our medical issues, showed him pictures of our toxic house.
One of the big issues in Las Vegas, NV is our humidity isn't even close to Florida or Louisiana so the problems they are having almost immediately after the home is occupied doesn't happen in Las Vegas, NV. In Las Vegas the humidity is low so instead of AC units and other highly corrosive areas show 6 years into the occupation of the home allow these chemicals to instead cause the occupants to be sick. The doctors treat the sinus infections, rashes, migraines with drugs. Other more severe issues such as brain damage they look for MS markers, Cancer and came up empty in my case.
The damage has been done healthwise causing the occupants not to be able to work, losing their business, retirement and homes to foreclosure.
The investigator is researching and hopefully will set a date to send a team out to take samples of our drywall to identify who made it and where it came from.
We will continue to fight for our rights and go after Lennar and Subcontractors.
The Investigator asked us not to release his info yet until he finished his investigation because we have at least 15 other homes in our community that may have the same issues. The health indicators seem to be there so we will see shortly.
